Darlene Vortherms
CEO

 

Darlene founded PurNet incorporated in 1990 after she recognized a need for customized solutions to improve healthcare centers in acute and non-acute markets with their purchasing function and supply chain management. She has more than 38 years of experience in general business, contract negotiation, business development, and procurement management. Darlene has implemented new procedures and technology to monitor and track procurement processes which has reduced supply cost on average of 28% and recover thousands of dollars on supplies overcharged to its members.

 

Rebekah Eide
Procurement Solutions
and Technology

August 2000 - present

 

Rebekah has more than 15 years of experience of contract management, procurement processes, and software technology and development. Rebekah continues to develop software and software updates to increase workflow performance and enhance procurement processes with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), suppliers, and manufacturers. Rebekah’s continual drive to improve PurNet technology has resulted in increased contract compliance and decreased contract connection errors.

Ryan Nelsen
National Director of Sales
July 2007 - present

Ryan has more than 10 years of sales experience, procurement technology, contract management with group purchasing organizations. Ryan has assisted ambulatory surgery centers and physician offices in reducing their supply costs and to streamline their procurement processes. Ryan is responsible for managing membership relationships, negotiating new contracts, and increasing PurNet program membership within ambulatory surgery centers, physician offices, and surgical hospitals of various specialties.

 

Jenny Nelsen, RN
Director of Customer Relations

Jenny has more than 7 years of experience within the business and healthcare field. Jenny oversees the operational work-flows within the organization to identify areas of improvement and improve efficiencies. Jenny identifies business development and sales opportunities as they related to specific projects and creates proposals and protocols to maximize membership value and increase employee efficiencies.
